Greenville - County Schools Healthy Food Programs

Greenville County Schools (GCS) Food & Nutrition Services (FANS) Director Joe Urban along with Coordinator of Operations Paula Wambeke and Culinary Specialist Brian Hickey hosted Feed & Seed Chair Mary Hipp and Elemental Impact Founder Holly Elmore for an introductory meeting on GSC FANS's impressive healthy-meals program. Following the program history and current scenario education, the group toured the Dr. Phinnize J. Fisher Middle School cafeteria and enjoyed an amazing lunch.

05-15-19 At Greenville County Schools Food and Nutrition Services, food safety comes first. An associate tests the temperature prior to serving the chicken fingers to students.

Note the associate uses kitchen gloves and her hair is in a cap. LOVE it: embroidered caps are provided yet associates retain the option to use a hairnet.
