The City Pier - Anna Maria Island
05-25-18 Originally built in 1911, The City Pier on Anna Maria Island was decimated by Hurricane Irma last fall and remains closed pending reconstruction, estimated at 3.2 million for the pier and another 1.3 million for the restaurant and bait shop. In the meantime, an array of waterfowl enjoys the rickety pier.
As it was a favorite Gulf Coast destination for Uncle Pork, The City Pier was the first stop on the Myers Clan Gulf Coast tour after picking up Dionne & Megan from the Tampa Airport. Yay, the weather was gorgeous while at the pier!
