Mamma Raccoon Rescues Baby

While finishing a walk on the trails in South Lido Beach, I came upon a distressed mother raccoon separated from her scared baby who climbed high into a tree. Once the two young women who caused the scenario left the area, Mamma went about the arduous task of rescuing her young, frightened baby from high in a pine tree. It was powerful to witness and capture the love and ingenuity required to bring the youngster to safety.

05-25-12 Help Mom! I am way, way up here and have no idea how to get back to the safe ground. Please do not be mad as I was only getting away from a couple of those human things.
