SCSD6 Hdroponics

In 2016, Spaartanburg County Schools District 6 (SCSD6) evolved their farm-to-school focus to a campus-to-cafeteria endeavor with the construction of a greenhouse on the backside of the Dorman Freshman Campus. Butter-crunch lettuce, other lettuces, and herbs are grown in a Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) hydroponic growing system.
