Grove Park Community & Pollinator Gardens
Park Pride Visioning Coordinator Teri Nye hosted me on a cold December day at the Grove Park Pollinator Garden for an educational garden tour. It was enlightening to learn about the tremendous life cycles at play in the seemingly dormant garden.
The photo shoot was the foundation for several published articles, include a six-page spread "Restoring Pollinator Populations" in Southern Farm & Gardens 2018 spring issue.
Within 24 hours of the visit, the garden was covered in 6 - 8 inches of snow! I returned a week later with the tripod and macro lens for some detailed captures.
