King of Crops - GWCCA Tour

On February 6, 2017, Ei orchestrated a King of Crops farm & food waste composting tour for Tim Trefzer, Georgia World Congress Center director of sustainability. Compostwheels Founder David Paull hosted the tour; CW partners with King of Crops for commercial food waste composting at the farm.

Wood shaving on windrow

02-06-17 After commercial it is deposited onto a newly formed windrow, the food waste is topped by wood shaving from a local lumber mill. In the compost recipe, food waste is the nitrogen ingredient while the wood shavings provide the necessary carbon.
